David Lai, Founder
David Lai is an experienced corporate planning and derivatives professional with
over 15 years in Taiwan's financial industry. His expertise includes corporate
strategy and derivatives financial products, with a deep understanding of corporate
treasury functions and capital structures.
Earlier in his career Mr. Lai was a derivatives trader at Core Pacific Securities, and
was a derivatives structurer at Yuanta, where he helped launch Taiwan's first
warrants programme. He also was an executive vice president at Polaris, Taiwan's
largest futures broker. Mr. Lai is a Taiwan national and speaks Mandarin and
Taiwanese in addition to English fluently.
He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from National Cheng
Kung University and a master in statistics from National Taipei University.
